  • 12 oz. Jar Pepper (Red) roasted

  • Some Lemon Juice

  • Oregano (opt)

  • Basil (opt)

  • Garlic (opt)

  • Thyme (opt)

  • Pepper (Cayenne) (opt)

    I usually take a 12 oz. Jar of roasted red peppers and blend it, including some of the liquid they are in. Drain the jar first and blend, then add to the desried consistency. I then add some lemon juice (those peppers never do QUITE taste like tomatoes!)

    Then I add herbs (organo, basil, garlic, thyme, salt, cayenne -- whatever suits me at the time.
