GARLIC/OIL OIL MAYONNAISE A: OK AB: OK B: OK O: OK

  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • A: HBAB: HBB: NO: HB
  • 2 egg yolks
  • A: OAB: NB: NO: O
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • A: NAB: NB: NO: N
  • juice of 1/2 lemon, or more to taste
  • A: HBAB: HBB: NO: N
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • A: HBAB: HBB: HBO: HB

    Combine garlic, salt, and egg yolks. Slowly add oil a drop at a time, beating vigorously until 2 to 3 tablespoons have been added. Add remaining oil in a steady stream, beating constantly. Add lemon juice, beating well. Season w/salt. Maybe a little cayenne would be nice, (for B or O type only).

    Yield: about 1 1/2 cups
